Unless he' really unbelievable, if we're starting a true freshman, we could be in trouble. JaMarcus Russell, Tim Tebow, Pryor, none started the season as the starter.
i will. :wink: and that's why he won't start as qb next season (at least not the beginning) i will do that too. tebow is a great leader, and a damn good qb that we'd all take in a second, but he won't be a qb at the next level and i don't like his arm much. pat white... not a great qb. great athlete yes, great qb no.
Pat White isnt a great QB? You realize QB isn't defined by being a pocket passer, it is a position..and all great QB's use their strengths to make them great QB's. Tommy Frazier is one of the best QB's ever.
After what happened this year, not a chance in hell. I wish people would stop treating Sheppard like he is God. How bout we wait to see what the kid can do first.
Given Miles attitude toward playing freshmen, I would agree. However, Shepherd may very well earn a starting role before the season is over. A Herb Tyler performance, as a true freshman, probably could have started this season.
