Well, isn't this thread about restricting constitutional rights? As long as it is, then they would serve as examples.
no really, i dont. i dont give a crap about privacy. if the constitution says bush cant do whatever it is he is doing, so what. then change the constitution. its not like we as a country have been so hardcore about the constitution. if we really cared about unreasonable search and siezure, we would be up in arms about having such an enourmous amount of our money siezed in taxes. we work like half our lives for the stupid government. you think the founding fathers had that in mind? we quit caring about the constitution long ago. privacy is overrated. i dont give a damn about it. if the government meddling in your life is an issue to you, then you should have already murdered your leaders for how much they tax you.
people keep throwing up that quote how about how peeps who sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither. thats crap. you must sacrifice some freedom for security. now of course, i realize this new bush stuff means nothing to me and could never affect me in a zillion years, so i am fine with it. i dont make calls to pakistan. and if i did, i would understand if the gov't listened in on occasion.
i actually typed that last post before he put up that quote, if i had pressed enter earlier it would have been beautiful. i knew somebody was about to drop that quote.
