Mothers & Fathers aren't doing their job. You child & all people have a choice - they can chose to engage in sexual activity or not. Parents can teach that it is wrong to do so, but in taking such an approach they leave out possabilities for if the child choses other wise. If the kid is going to have sex, - they will, despite parents, religion or whatever else. They might as well be informed about the consequences of their actions & possible preventative measures. There is no "if". The word theory is always included & it isn't harped on because it is the best scientific explanation that exist - just like they don't harp on the "theory" part of gravity. Taxation is actually much worse than 30%. 30% is just straight off of your income, then consider all the sales tax, increased prices on good due to the taxes they've faced, property tax etc. It really is ridiculous & America needs to go back to what made us such a successful country to begin with - less government involvement & thus lower taxation. Rex's argument about streets is completely off base. Here, here! I agree. It's not racism at all. It just happens to be that the majority of these people belong to one race. This generalization is not wrong, just so long as it is acknowledged that it is a generalization. These people have continued to use the system because of "bleeding heart" liberals that think they are doing some good. They aren't. Actually, Sourdoughman believes that the moral corruption of America began with the seperation of church & state. So he probably is in favor of a state religion. Obviously, he didn't pay much attention to how that worked out in Europe. Practice your religion all you want, just don't use public state funded programs (schools etc) to force them on others.
i am like a magnet for people falling down. i see people going down all the time. maybe thats just part of life yunno, peeps busting their ass, but it seems like i am a spectator at more than my share of the falls. i saw two more people go down hard. its really troublesome for me, because i have to decide very quickly if i get to laugh or if i have to be concerned about the poor bastard who just busted their ass. falls witnessed: 1. corner of broadway and fulton. big fat ass steps in a small dip in the street and goes down like a sack of potaters. slaps the ground loud, sounds like a rowboat paddle smacking a whale. rolls like a weeble-wobble toy thing. facefirst. peeps immediately to his aid, he looks to be ok, but he masks his embarassment with fake concern for his health. 2. in the entryway to my building, a huge clubfooted lady goes down when she accidentally rolls up the rug with her draggin' foot. she has one of those bum feet like the guy in the usual suspects. now this lady is retarded enough so i am positive i do not get to laugh. the crazy thing about these people i see fall down all the time is that none of them do anything to break their falls, they just drop and smack the ground with all of their weight. my mormal doorman isnt there, a little lady is there instead, she freaks out. a team of residents have to mobilize a liftin squad to right this big woman. she is ok, and toughs it out.
