The only time that's happened to me in a theatre is at the end of Field of Dreams (which my wife and I saw with my parents). Now at home, the last 5 minutes of Saving Private Ryan gets me, every time.

Re: Blazing Saddles, I read this trivia on IMDB.com last night (picture the characters involved in the story) During production, Mel Brooks and some of the crew were having lunch in the commissary, and John Wayne was sitting at the next table. JW tells MB,"is the stuff I'm hearing about the Western you're making true? Where you've got cowboys telling each other, 'blow it out your azz?'" Brooks happened to have a copy of the script with him. He gave it to Duke and said,"Its true, and I want you in it." JW brought him the script back the next day and said,"no, I can't make a movie like that, but I'll be first in line to see it."
