At one point they actually grimaced and grunted when Arkansas got a penalty. Lundquist was pretty off today. He almost sounded like he was calling out random things and seeing if they stuck.

Odds are Verne had both a spotter and a roster. He's just getting a little long in the tooth for today's fast paced college football. Needs to stick to figure skating and calling the action on #16 at Augusta.

Yeah, definitely a lean towards LSU. Danielson did a nice analysis of our 2 losses and pretty much said we gave those games away. That was cool.

How can you not drool over the most impressive offensive player since.....Reggie Bush? This guy is basically Reggie Bush, just 3 inches taller. That isn't even fair.

LSU fans are too damn paranoid.

I agree totally. It was great to see the announcers eat it at the end. and to the 4 or 5th poster who said they said "we are the most talented in the SEC," every commentator the whole year has said that. It kills time to say that and is more of an insult or a critisism of miles than anything else. It was MCFADDEN SUCK FEST as stated before. DID you notice how they replayed the 2001 (or was it 2002) comeback game twice but neglected to show any LSU beating Arkansas highlights despite the fact that we have owned Arkansas in the total series department. Way to go CBS...the whole game, I kept thinking those guys were going to nut on themselves if we have a big turnover that results in points. It wasn't meant to be because we were clearly the better team and deserve a BSC bid. we all knew mcfadden couldn't be completely contained but we did it in the 3rd quarter and we force em' to pass at the end.

That was unacceptable. No other way to put it.

I don't even know how to defend that, cuz you can't. Makes you wonder.

lundquist is the new pat summerall. its like he has no clue what's going on. that whole arkansas mixed with matthew mconaghey "we are marshall" montage to start the game gave me serious gas.

TV telecasts tend to be slanted towards the home team. That's just natural.

They gave LSU props, alright, but often in a backhanded way - Dumbquist: "let me rephrase that, LSU doesn't necessarily have the best TEAM, but they have the best TALENT..." I felt like both he and the other doofus really wanted Arky to win.

I found them somewhat irritating but not altogther unfair. Ark. came out bang-bang, and LSU responded with two TDs against that. This easily set the stage for the back-and-forth. Two of the four best teams in the SEC played today, and some might say the best two played. Hard to tell and whatever, but it was a tough game and another SEC fight. This was the best game on tap for the day anywhere in the country. I am sure Arkansas is hurting from this, but they played a helluva game that they could have possibly won if they make some changes (a little more McFadden QB, and different play calling on their last chance with the ball).
