The play that comes to mind for me is the Eli Manning Sack in 2003 to secure the victory for LSU. That was a truly exciting moment.

I remember hearing a story about how the Ole Miss student paper's headline after that game read, "Ole Miss 16, LSU 10 + 7", basically claiming LSU had a little homefield advantage there with the refs and the timeclock. And that the next year after the LSU/Ole Miss game (score LSU 51, OM 14) the Reville's headline was something like, "LSU 16+7+7+7+7+7, Ole Miss 14".

    :hihi:

Everyone keeps talking about football with a little baseball thrown in, so I'll bring up my favorite all time play in basketball. Really, all four games played by Dale Brown's Tigers leading up to the 1986 final four were fantastic with great moments for each of the players. But the greatest moment from that series that I remember:

Anthony Wilson's game winning last-second shot against Memphis State to lead the Tigers to the Sweet Sixteen. I still remember that shot. I get chills whenever I think of it. That was nuts. Man, that was nuts.

Edited to add: not really an all time "great play", but I also vividly remember the game where near the end, Dale had the mike on (televised game), and during the final huddle Jose Vargas was instructed very vehemently not to shoot if he got the ball, and then he got the ball and tried to score and missed. Great moment. I mean, it sucked, but there was something about that guy that I just loved.

On the first play of the game, a short pass to Brandon LaFell goes for an 80 yard TD. LaFell walks towards the USC section and..........:D

My favorite play for each sport:
Football-Devery Henderson, obviously, but since I wasn't watching the game I'll go with Early Doucet vs. Arizona State.

Baseball-Warren Morris obviously, but since I wasn't watching the game I'll go with Brad Cresse.

    Basketall-D.Mitchell's shot against Texas A&M.
