That is precisely my question. What is the source of this information? Did you hear it my his ex-brother-in-law's barber?
I hope this right i played at MGCCC the last two years one a redshirt, and am now going to walk on at LSU. But all the coaches at MGCCC seem to be very confident he will have to play juco for a few years. But hes a great athlete and hope he ends up at LSU.
HEY, I remember you!!! You were the one telling us last year about how DByrd had a bad attitude/work ethic...wasn't all that...etc... Honestly, though...I DO know who Co-Eric Riley is now. He did pretty well for MSU this season. Good luck to you if you decide to walk on. I think it will take a redshirt year for byrd to be able to play he wasnt the best reciever on his team this year. He is very fast but his route running is questionable. My Highshool quarterback plays at PRCC and said the Byrd is extremely fast but has not work ethic and a bad attitude. He cant even squat 235 pounds. I think its goin to take some time to get him on the field but i hope not and i hope he makes an immediate impact just trin to throw in my 2 cents from someone who has been on the field with him. He deffinetly has all the potential in the world though.
I saw a 2017 projected NFL all-pro team and Reuben Randle was one of the WRs. I worry that we'll miss out on a big-time LA talent in a year because to be perfectly honest, if Brown and Benton come, you would have to be an idiot to come to LSU at WR in a year or two or three or four at this rate.
That doesn't mean much at this point in time with all that can happen. As far as coming to LSU in the upcoming years, why are you worried about missing out on a talent in a year when you just said we're stocked for the next two or three or four? From reading your post, I get the feeling us not getting RR is painful for you since he's family and all but stop worrying about LSU, we'll fill our needs. Tell cuz he can take a redshirt and in three years, by the time he's ready to play, there'll be room.
With 3-5 receiver sets, who gets left out? The guy that drops the ball repeatedly. If you do that at LSU, you will do it anywhere and you will not make it to the next level anyway. Besides, Randall will follow Tolliver and sign with LSU next year. He bleeds P&G.
Brown did not visit Ole Miss this past weekend. We can pretty much update his chances to LSU up from 90 percent to about 99 percent.
So why doesn't he just give us the verbal now. Could it be that he won't qualify and that is slowing down the process?
