Oops, I meant McClain at OT (don't know where I got the name Sullivan - too many recruits to keep up with I guess).
I wonder what Brown's vertical is? I have to assume he could go up 5" over the average CB. He could leave LSU as the all-time TD leader because this guy just screams red-zone threat. The great thing is he's so athletic that he can run all the routes. There was a guy that signed with UNC with relatively similar measurements a year or two ago, but our coaches saw him as a TE because he didn't have the athleticism to be a WR. That won't be a problem with Brown.
i take it from your post that this information is pretty solid. As I look to you for great inside information.
Well I take it the conversation with his mom went like this: DeAndre: Mom, I talked to Coach Nutt and he seems like a nice guy and all. He told me a lot of good things about Ole Miss. Mom: Baby, don't let that man get into your head. You know LSU is the best play for you. Them boys are gonna win another national championship. DeAndre: I know, mom. You're right. I don't know what I was thinking.
FWIW, a friend of mine who is usually (but not always) right on when it comes to recruiting says he is hearing the same things about DeAndre, i.e. , coming to LSU and will have the grades.
Vertical of 32.5. Ok, that won't be fair. That's basketball kinda ups. Can you say Harold Carmichael?
:geaux: :crystal: :helmet: Sure hope this turns out to be true. Would hate to see him go to Ole Piss! That would be such a waste. Wouldn't he be a tremendous addition to this class, with T. Tolliver, T. Molten, and D. Benton!!!!! Not to mention the recievers we already have. Sure hope this pans out.:geauxtige :champs: :LSU231: :crystal:
That TD on that post in the AL-MS All Star game was incredible. After seeing it you wont picture him as a big, physical David Boston type guy, which he is, but more like Calvin Johnson. -- a player that is fluid and runs really well after catching the ball.
