I liked the fact that the 2nd and 3rd team players came in and played with purpose. How many time in the past in similar conditions have our reserves come in, played sloppy and gave up a ton of yardage and a bunch of cheap TDs.
Listening to Moscona and T-Bob and they referenced this...that big hit he had on a kickoff late in the 1Q. He's #52, and I could have sworn it was 92 on the play. Problem is, there's no 92 on the roster. Matt and T-Bob said just now it was actually Da'Shawn Womack. He and Hilton both wear 17, and both were on the KO team, so one of them had to change jerseys.
I take meds that put me to sleep so I missed a lot of the 2nd half. Did my man, Welton Spottsville, #41, Safety, get in the game?
Bloggers indicating we should see a lot more of Denver Harris and Ashton Stamps at corner this week. Also expect to see Dashawn Womack get his first meaningful playing time.
My view of this years teams offense. We have very good QB's maybe the best duo in the conference. Our offensive line will be awesome as we move forward. At RB I always thought Jackson was going to be a stud and is a STUD! Diggs is a pleasent surprise and Williams, Cain and Emery are solid backups. I think Goodwin and Holly if healthy will also be great. Our run game has the potential to be great. Wide recievers are really good especially Nabors, Thomas and Hilton. Anderson will be a stud once he gets reps. Lacy is very good and reliable. The WR backups especially Samson needs time and reps. TE's are very good. Really liked how Markway played in Grambling game, blocks very and caught the only pass thrown to him. Pimpton needs time to develop but will be weapon. Did not like the offensive game plan against Fla St. Coaches need to do a better job. Our offense is as good as anyones in the SEC. Defense later.
