Jefferson looks just awful and lost most of the time. I like the Number 1 guy (did not catch his name) he seems like a baller. A great deal more upside than RJ. Reminds me of the honey badger with that strip and run for a TD. Too bad it was called back. I can only guess that his youth is keeping him off the field due to understanding the playbook. Again though I must stress how much I do not like seeing Jefferson back there.

    donte jackson.

ive been refraining from piling on jefferson because he played very well early on. But with bama on the horizon and he fucking costs us that game im going to lose my shit. corrections have to be made. he is completely lost at the moment. like hes never played the position. what happened to him.

Me too as I saw some things early in the year that gave me hope especially in run support. But now he keeps whiffing on tackles and on coverages.

Yes, last night was hard to grade due to conditions. You are also correct that the offense is unimaginative. With the development of Harris and the WRs, all the pieces are in place yet the staff struggles to find creative was to get playmakers the ball in space and keep the defense guessing. I'd give Harris a B, the WRs a B and the offensive staff a C. On defense there is a lot of work to do. DL I'd give a B-, they should have created more pressure against WKU, but the run defense was pretty good. LB get a B, they were all over the field, but missed a lot of tackles. DBs get a C-, WRs were open all night and the blown coverages are happening much too frequently. The WKU WRs had quite a few drops and their QB missfired regularly. Coaching on defense C. I really don't even want to grade special teams, although they did look better at times.

I believe we should be proud of the QB & the receivers for the play in this game because the conditions were horrible! My complaint is with the punt coverage team . Not so much the players but the scheme. Their punter had all day to punt & even waited til the last minute on several punts. We should of changed up at times to put more pressure. The punt returner did not have a chance.

Oh you're going to sit back there like 5 seconds and twiddle your thumbs? We will abide. I liked how BDP made very late game adjustments and rushed one guy from the edge of the field that would have reached the punter in about 10 seconds.

I don't mind the vanilla play call because Les is trying not to show his hand. Also against a team like WKU, we should be able to run at will.

the secret playbook should contain LF screens and different passes out the backfield to him to beat bama. I sure hope they've been keeping this out for this game because i think they can do this all day on the more aggressive teams.
