The player that tackled him was much faster than Dural. He was their fastest player. Dural had no chance.
Did I miss some drops by the receivers? I did see a couple of longer passes that made the catches quite difficult and thus incomplete. That was on Harris. The only drop I remember was that screen pass play but that was Guice.
If he would have ran left instead of right it would have given the defender a harder angle. He gave the guy the easiest angle possible running right.
I feel like a 5 point curve for all positions is merited due to the sloppy conditions. The offense is still as unimaginative as ever.
I'll cut the receivers some slack on the drops, it was very wet and muddy out there. I think I might give Harris a B+, even though he had a career night. He is still making some mistakes that should be behind him at mid-season. He is still not reading defenses very well. On the zone read he hands it to Fournette when they are stacked for him. And he kept it twice when there was an uncovered man on his side that came right at him.
Doesn't seem to good at zone read. I've seen Fournette TAKE it from him twice for long gains when Harris wanted to keep it.
Doug Moreau on the radio said that he thinks many of the "zone read" plays are previously called from the sidelines because they don't yet trust Harris to read the defense. With good reason, apparently.
Dural dropped one on the sideline that hit him in the hands, and Dupre dropped one up the right seam between 2 defenders that hit him in the hands as well. If the ball hits your hands you should catch it.
