I'm not sure. I was pretty sure that A & M was seriously overrated, and that showed itself yesterday. Alabama lost to Ole Miss, who lost badly to Florida (and now Memphis). It's the SEC. Any day any team can beat another; however, Alabama has some weaknesses to exploit, too.
Thomas is a senior. Mills will be back full time I'm guessing by Alabama. Thomas actually made a TD saving play last night on a ball that had no business being so close to being completed. Defenders were not getting their heads around. This happened all night. Jefferson was terrible last night. I'm not sure who I'd rather Mills replace, I almost think it should be Jefferson at this point.
I think LSU overall is better. I can't remember these 2 teams being so weak in special teams and against the pass though.
I recall Tolliver alligator arming a few run tackles as well, though he's still got some growing to do.
I might have given B- to both lines. Offense has gotten better at pass protection, but did not open huge holes in a stout Florida D-line. The defensive line did not get the pass rush that was needed, but were very good at run coverage. I think I would boost coaching to a B. Flea flickers, fake punt, two 50-yard passes made for a much better offensive day. Our prevent defense actually prevented a touchdown in the 4th. Special teams is a problem, though. On the whole, I think the coaching is good.
I'm actually more worried about A&M than Bama. I'm worried about what Kyler Murray does to our secondary. Those pick 6's were huge but Bama's secondary is better than ours. Trying to understand what the hell happened in that game. Bama actually only went 4-16 on third down but Henry ran for 6 miles.

I don't know. I think LSU has no problem running for 400 yards against A&M. The problem again will be special teams and defense in the secondary.
