Well ... I think we should show the very first LBA recipient then. 27 seconds in. I couldn't find a gif for it but I didn't look too hard.
Back to Back Destruction after kick offs. It was so nice. And yes we knew he was amazing. I actually think he could play CB/WR and be amazing at both. Would be an excellent 2 way player.
I suppose it's possible that our inexperienced guys now have half a season's experience under their belts.
What a pleasant surprise the D was today. The entire D really stepped up. If this D showed up against UGA, LSU is unbeaten. Better late than never. This isnt the UF juggernaut O we are use to seeing but still, the D was much better. The angles were better, the contain was better. Much better communication. The OL was the next big improvement. They ran blocked very well against the best D in the conference and probably country. The pass blocking was very good as well. Overall an excellent performance by the OL. I agree that Mett was way off today. He missed out on some big plays. The UF D did a good job though against Landry and OBJ. Although there were a few plays that Landry normally makes that he missed out on. I cant argue the coaching because they fixed the main issues on the D and OL. I did think we ran a few too many times on 2nd and long. Which put us in third and long. As a whole the coaching was excellent. It was the best game IMO. Mainly due to the D coming around and the OL showing some dominance in the run game. Hopefully that focus remains through the rest of the season.
well UF has 2 REAL cb's. Probably 2 of the best cb's in college football right now. And when we needed it Landry and Beckham still made big plays. But why chance it when you can gouge the run, so that's what we did. I very much enjoyed this game.
Just a reminder of the instincts that t-Rex has... Dudes football instincts were off the charts... Wish he could've stayed off the wacky backy...
