Maybe so, but Global Warming has been out of the national discussion ever since.

It's out of the media discussion, especially on FOX, because the Health Law fallout caused them to back off the Energy Bill. It's not out of the scientific discussion and it's not out of political discussion by a long shot.

You can't make it go away just because you won't defend your position.

closing your eyes and telling yourself something isn't an issue doesn't mean it's not. I find it odd that most of you guys on the right always want to talk about about your children's future, and how we are going to leave them with record debt, but don't give a damn about the planet you are leaving your children.

Something can be done about the economy.

Something can be done about air and water pollution and about solid waste disposal. Nothing can be done about melting ice caps and holes in the atmosphere.

You are quite wrong. I challenge you to support that with some real facts and evidence. I'm careful not to challenge you too much on insurance, because you know what you are talking about, and I don't want to give you an opportunity to make a fool of me.

You should think about that before making grand statements on climate change that you are not prepared to document.

If all humans disappeared today, the ice caps would still melt, then refreeze, then melt, ad nauseum. The planet would heat, then cool, then reheat ad nauseum. It's been going on for billions of years and will go on for billions more.

Do you fantasize that a billion years from now humans will still speak of the courageous polititians that saved the planet back in the 21st century?
