I don't have an opinion about Eddie Compass, Sourdough. He was police chief and then he resigned. I don't know the reasons. What are you trying to make of it, exactly?

Now this is getting ridiculous. You can't show me one post where I said the mayor and the governor did nothing wrong. Not One! You are making this up. I can show you about four posts where I specifically faulted the mayor, the governor, and the federal government and was specific about what I thought those failures were.

How about you just stick to telling us what you think instead of telling us what I think. Especially when my opinion is already on record.

    How clever.

There is no point in debating you. You can't argue the facts to save your life. You just get emotional and start throwing around childish insults.

Their are sources that said he resigned because he was fired by the mayor.

 Take it easy, that was a poor choice on my part, it just seems like
you guys want to blame the Feds for everything that is all. ;)

I don't have a link, but the The Advertiser in Lafayette ran an article about several people requesting information from the Registrar's office about recall procedures for the governor. It was either 10 or 11 requests for info. Would take almost 250K signatures to get it on the ballot. Only happened twice, the most recent being in Cali in 2003.
