BamaBuzzard's acting like Miles dissed Mother Theresa. Les is Les. I wouldn't expect rivals to be happy with the comments, but until they can shut him up, they'll just have to bend over and take it. He's our azzhole. We love it. Amazing how in love they are with Saban though. They think the ULM thing was a fluke. Saban will deliver one of those little surprises every other year.
Really, what did Les say that was so controversial? Did he lie? No. He simply brought up a fact that Bama fans would like to forget. Just because he's kind of a smartazz about it doesn't mean it's not true. If you want to prevent further embarassment in the future, avoid losing to directional Louisiana schools.
Quotes like this may provide bulletin board material, but it keeps LSU in the spotlight. Publicity is a powerful recruiting and ranking tool, and he knows it. Plus...it gives us plenty of entertainment to help get us through August! :milesmic:
When your seven wins are against Western Carolina , Vanderbilt , Arkansas , Houston , Ole Miss and Tennessee and that stunning Indy Bowl against Colorado you might want to keep your mouth shut and take your medicine. They lost to a poor Florida St team, Miss St and Louisiana Monroe. Once they start winning again statements like that should hurt their feelings, but right now it's just the plain old truth, get over it gumps.
Thanks for the spotlight recognition. Considering all of the unwanted media hoopla these two coaches got themselves into when addressing the other through the media I would think both would stay away from it all together. But I guess Miles doesn't mind it and maybe enjoys it. I don't think it is the best thing to do considering the recent history of these two programs. But to each his own. As fans it's great because you get to chest thump a bit because your coach is "Just telling the truth", "He can back it up" etc. But in all cases as these we tend to get to experience wearing both shoes. And I'm not even going to dance around it because y'all know I'm thinking it. I hope these words (come November) come back and bite his azz. I will wallow in it like a ole fat sow laying in mud on a spring day. And yes I like Saban as our coach. He's done and is doing a lot of positive things that haven't been done at Bama in a long long time. Time will tell whether the "ULM thing" was a fluke or not.
5 Straight wins in this series 7 of the last 8 2 National titles since Bama's last one 3 SEC titles since Bama's last one 4 Division titles since Bama's last yeah, we got no room to talk chit recently
No one said you had room or didn't have room. Bama had all the room in the world for years to lay the smack wood to LSU for our streaks, and trust me many of them did. But I rarely came across any LSU fan that said "Hey, they got room to do it." Rather it was "Them damn arrogant bama fans." So Bama fans response is right in line with LSU's responses when the losing shoe was on y'alls foot and LSU's responses are right in line with Bama's when the winning shoe was on our foot. You have room to "chest thump" and we've got room to bitch about it. So we're bitching about it.
Will LSU losing to Bama for the first time in 6 years be the same as Bama losing to ULM? Just curious if you believe that a loss to Bama is that disgraceful. Now if we lose to North Texas....
