I'm thinking Terry Bowden would be a great fit there. Richt was Bobby Bowden's OC at FSU, Terry would be a good "continuity fit" if the UGA faithful get done with Richt. He also might be a bit cheaper.

Oh, is THAT what I was doing? Thanks for clearing that up, tiga.

tiga is clearly predisposed to hating Miles so there is no point in debating him. If and when LSU loses a game we can re-visit coaching discussions. The point is to win the games.

    Most observers do.

In wins, not in trophies. Trophies are important to the fans.

From our perspective, yes. But Richt is catching hell in Georgia, much like Tubervilles last season, speaking of firing coaches with winning records.

There are disgruntled fans all over.

I would have thought Dooley would eventually end up at Jawja. And speaking of Dooley, what if your coach was honest and spoke like this:

That's brutal honesty. And you know what, he is right. What if Les Miles was like that?

Richt gets a little more slack than Miles because he built up the Georgia football program from when it was down, whereas Miles got lucky and walked into a totally elite LSU football program that was built up by his predecessor and yet instead of at least maintaining the elite status, the program has gone down to mediocrity or at least that is the perception. Moreover, Richt hasn’t made gross coaching blunders on national TV such as Miles has like, for instance, the one against Ole Miss last year.

We would have less negatigers. The sudden realization that they agree with Miles on something would cause their heads to explode.

see i would wonder if there would be a big bunch of fans and media here that would be like: how dare he say something like that, does he have no confidence in his team and so on.

He's looked pretty stupid a few times getting unsportsmanlike penalties where his whole team celebrates a TD on the field before getting stomped into the ground by Florida. He also looked kinda bad when his players sold their SEC Championship rings online.

    But he gets a pass.

There is alot more to do in Athens also, that is a really, really cool town. I think the people there are way more laid back than in BR, which is a great town, don't get me wrong..
