I agree with you. Maybe it looked ugly, but it was smart.

They obviously drilled this into Mett's head to get the ball out as quickly as possible and be decisive. That was the most decisive he was the entire night.

It was almost immediate also. It's like oh shit, play is sniffed out, let's kill it before something bad happens.

I didn't mean aesthetic beauty, I mean like as soon as he did it (both times) there was a collective **gasp** in most of my side of the stadium because it was so close to being grounding. Many of us thought for sure it would be and had the crew not be inept it may have been. Like I said, he tries that against bama and it is a penalty and loss of down, EVERY TIME. No, when I say make it look better I mean find a way to make it look less like grounding.

On a different note, I was watching the replay of the Clem/Ga game and towards the end of it Herbie and Turd burgler were talking about other games around the country. They came to the LSU score and Herbie said something to the effect of "When is the last time you've seen LSU with 30 pts of offense in the 3rd qtr against a very good defensive team"? "Looks like Cam Cameron has opened it up a bit down in Baton Rouge".

Always good to hear that type of stuff. Sad that it has been too long since hearing that type of stuff.

I was impressed with Zach and our OL. I can't wait to see all 5 of our backs in 1 game. Hilliard, Blue, Magee, Copeland and Hill are going to give DL's hell this season. With the new pass attack threat opening up, the road to the NC may just start in Red Stick.

Run blocking needs a little work. Pass blocking was much improved IMO.

If they can disguise some of our running plays to look more like passing, our backs would do better. I watched okie state run that fake handoff 4 times straight on msu and get yards and a score.

I agree. We did better on our draw plays, after we showed we were willing and able to sling it.
