1. Even Metts only TD throw was PI which obviously was not going to be called. I mean the guy was trying to maul him and he just caught the ball and shed him off. I thought sure we would've been declining a penalty there...

I also like the fact that he threw it away when necessary instead of trying to force a play. He threw it out of the end zone twice, and even the blown up screens were smart decisions. With the drops and the PI no calls, he had the potential for a 20+completion, 300+yard day, plus about 3 or 4 TDs.
    ParadiseiNC likes this.
  2. I think Mett threw only 2 questionable passes all night.

And yes the touchdown pass was actually quite incredible, given the fact #80 was being mauled while trying to make a back shoulder grab.

    Beast I tell ya. Beast.
  3. How many of his "incompletions" were throw-aways?
  4. I think our offense might have to cover for our defense this year, especially early on. It's crazy to think about it but this might be a year where our offense is better than our defense.
  5. He surely was being raped. Normally, a guy will at least ask someone out first!
  6. I can recall six throw aways without referring to the box score or a replay. I may have forgotten one or two more and one of the six I called may not be seen as a throw away by everyone.
  7. I remember 1 out of the back of the end zone, and the 2 screen passses that he basically spiked. Which other ones are you referring to? (I was at work so I missed a few I'm sure).
  8. At least four.
  9. And Beckam could have easily caught two long passes he dropped.......
  10. That hurry up spike to the first person in a white jersey's feet he can find is going to cost us at some point. This might be the only question mark of the night on the "O"
