Well, you won't find me anywhere defending Trump other than on this thread and the carrier thread, so I object to being lumped into the "Trumplodytes" or calling him "my hero." "For Louisiana".....good answer. That's why, if this GOMESA cut goes through, I will be furious....with Congress, as I would have been in 2015. I will be angry with Trump, but when it comes to the budget, the president can outline a plan, he can lobby, he can stump, but the ultimate power to spend or not spend lies with Congress.
You know, you're right. I'd like to think I was fair with Obama; hell, I gave him credit for getting Bin Laden, and other than approving the operation, he really had nothing to do with it. But to say, the Rep is just getting the same thing the Dem got (and I know you don't like to be labelled as "liberal", so this is a rhetorical)....liberals always claim to be better people, the advocates of political correctness. They've branded all conservatives as moral hypocrites, so they can't expect high road behavior from them. And as Hillary said every time she got the chance, "when they go low, we go high." I'm sorry; I haven't seen anyone going high unless they had their teeth wrapped around a blunt. So when does it end? Will conservative be justified in keeping the all-anger, all-the-time campaign going because that's what Trump's getting? Who will "go high" and put an end to it?

The point is that you guys flipped your collective shit when Obama did it, or tried to do it, and called him a socialist and everything but a human being for it. Now that Trump does it you try to rationalize it and make it okay. You cannot have it both ways either.
