I've visited your forum recently and was impressed with how rational the members are- they give credit when it's due. :thumb:
Our grillin' & chillin' forum is getting kind of slow. We are down to arguing on whether or not gumbo has to have okra in it. I am ashamed to say we had one guy admit to putting lunch meat in his gumbo. He probably ate it with Fritos.
Only if it's "Okra gumbo".......I wouldn't think of it in a "Regular" gumbo. My favorite is chicken/sausage and no one better put any okra in it. :wink:
Me and SabanFan argue about this one. He don't put no okra in his gumbo. To me if it doesn't have okra, its some kind of chicken stew . . . it ain't gumbo.
