Well Ice-megedden was a big bust here. People were totally freaked out. Run on the grocery store like it was going to last for days instead of one. And we barely got anything. I kid you not, every lane at the grocery store was open and the lines for each lane were halfway to the back of the store. It was nuts!
Why does everybody buy all the bottled water before a hurricane? The power might gp oit but the water never does.
Pretty sure they have backup generators at the treatment facility. Baton Rouge has some of the best tasting and cleanest water in the country, yet a lot of people still drink bottled water all the time. I have a couple of cases that were bottled water but when they got empty I just refilled the bottles with tap water.
