Not necessarily 3 years. Alleva didn’t love the outcome of this. Closer to the end unless Eaux can turn it around. Disappointing season O.

 

Largest coaching disaster for ANY team, in ANY game, will ALWAYS be Miles against Alabama for the NC. If winning 9 games is a disaster, I hate to see what a real losing record will be.

 

I think O and Alleva’s fate are both intertwined. Only Joe Dean has ever hired 2 football coaches at LSU. Alleva won’t get another shot, thank god.

 

If we look like crap in 2018 they could both be gone. But FKing...

 

What was Hermans record

 

Herman didn’t inherit the talent O did. Put Herman on this team and O on Texas, you think Texas does better and LSU does worse?

 

Who cares? And what does that have to do with a mediocre season for O?

 

I still feel that with a different QB we would of had a much different season but that is the way of things. QB development was shit for so long we get stuck with Etling who has everything but the talent for the SEC. Amazing heart, just not enough tools to compete and win at the level we want.

Also, Les Miles really dropped off on recruiting kickers his last few years. this is 2-3 games we lost to poor SP teams play this year.
