maybe not, but we are not talking about me. we are talking about how you watch a movie that is proven to be a propaganda piece, overflowing with lies, and act like it helped you draw conclusions about bush and his oil cronies.
Do you have anything to back that up or do just say it for the hell of it? McCain was great. He's stabs at the French/Germans, Moore, Clinton Administration were awesome. It was a nice start to his '08 bid. The real question of the night is who will W Bush back between Guilliani and McCain in 4 years. They both did an excellent job of emphasizing Bush's leadership.
The republicans had nothing to say about G and D. They were too busy handing out purple band-aids and overly concerned with Kerry/Edwards....... stab-stab..........different from a month ago, huh?
Yeah, even I've gotta admit that the Purple Heart Band-Aids were a bit over the top. All that's going to do is piss the mainstream voter off.
Did you watch? McCain never mentioned Edwards or Kerry. Ron Silver never mentioned any Democrat. The only people that mentioned Kerry or Edwards was Rudy and one of the first speakers in the afternoon. Guilliani was hillarious, he spoke the truth about John Kerry -using his own words. If you didn't like what he said, then that's a personal problem and maybe you need to rethink your vote for Kerry. :thumb: "G & D" were 90% of both Guiliani and McCain's speeches, and 100% of many of the other speeches. Try some different spin. Now come on, you have to think the Purple Heart band-aids are pretty darn funny? So, why is Bush "All About The Oil"?
I thought it was funny, but I'm not really a "mainstream voter". I don't think it'll have any effect, it's not like the RNC was officially passing them out. It was just some delegate. I'm sure they will get them off the floor for today.
I watched the McCain speech last night. It was very monotone and dull. That's not an attack at what he had to say, he is just not very good at giving speeches imo. I am still trying to figure out what makes this guy supposedly likable to people of both major political parties.
I agree with your last statement completely. I'll never understand it, he takes such odd stances on issues. With that said, I loved what he had to say last night. I thought he showed a lot of passion at times. He even looked like he was gonna cry at the end. His best ever probably and a nice way to start his '08 campaign.
I've always like John McCain. I wish he was running. He has a pair. Which reminds me, both John McCain and John Brady look like they're storing nuts in their mouth.
