There are about 1,200 USNCOM inspectors (including the American ones) who had insisted that all of Saddams WMD's were destroyed during 10 years of inspections/sanctions. And they were right.

Pass the Kootchie from the left hand side . . .

yeah i know they use them fancy teleprompter gadgets but didnt see him staring in one place. like i said, hes already as good as bush.

you two still havent agreed to disagree on this yet? damn you are each hard-headed unlike me.

either way, i like seeing the nation come together for whatever reason. time will tell if its deserved or not so until then, lets move in the same direction.

we can shoot each other later.

Unlike newscasters, who stare into a single TelePromTer mounted in front of the camera, Presidents give speeches with 2 or more PromTers, so they can direct their attention around the audience.

Yes, they are set up that way to provide the illusion of eye contact. But perhaps Obama is a gifted orator. Some folks are.

Not just expected....its the only way we've ever done it. Can any other nation that's been around 2+ centuries say that?

true. some things transcend partisan politics. that is one of them.

have had the tv on in the background while working. stopped to watch the reviewing the troops part.

if anyone doesnt get feelings of pride and gratitude by watching that, they arent breathing.
