Yes, he has answered it many times, but he had never answered it after the first game. The question was (paraphrasing) based on the two quarterbacks performance in that game, what was Saban's thinking? Sorry, Kiki, but that was a perfectly reasonable and fair question for that time.
Saban is an angry and miserable little man. I think he probably misunderstood the question or heard what he wanted to hear, either way he was out of line. He gave an answer to a question that no one asked.
