We have had excellent coverage for a couple of decades now, so this is very strange. It's so bad on kickoff's that I wish we would just kick it out of the endzone. Where is Gamble?

It is really bad, a true head-scratcher.

With exception of the AU game (which both teams scored 7 in the 4Q), it's not like the other 2 games were blowouts. This happened against the first string D.

I can't believe they went all the way to Australia to get this guy. The other Aussie must be worse since he is #2.behind the "shanker". Kinda makes me believe they gave him a scholarship just to justify an all expense paid vacation to Australia for some coach. Maybe Jennings can punt.

    Three problems stand out:
    1. Penalties
    2. Special Teams
    3. Punting! Get a gottdamm American punter!
    4. Third down conversions. Still

They better learn how to tackle before they play the gumps.

Great point. LSU appeared to have been tackling much better than years pass, but yesterday the tackling was atrocious. There were far too many missed tackles.

Surprisingly, at this point I have more concerns about the defense than the offense. Even more surprisingly, I worry about the pass defense more than the run. We give up 300+ passing yards to MooState; most of it when the game was on the line. Then a guy who likely wouldn't make the roster in most SEC schools helps keep Cuse in the game when we should have been able to just slam the door.
We've got to tighten that up soon.

The safety didn't get beat, the corner thought he had deep help but Adams was assigned to the guy who went into the flat.
