Neither am I. I wouldn't call it 3 games in either. He was 6-2 last year. This is was his 11th game, interim tag or not. Coach did not lie when he said this team wasn't ready to go 4 WR set yet and that the defense has only mastered 3 plays. As young as we are, some of that still has to fall on coaching. These guys were COMPLETELY unprepared.
Lots of criticism for the coaches, but if you're counting his interim games, he's had more success than disappointments. Too soon to write him off. Hope this wakes him and his entourage up.
My criticism is strictly with him saying we haven't learned more than 3 plays on defense and still haven't learned enough to enter a passing attack into our gameplan. That's ridiculous. These are 4 and 5 star recruits. They had all spring, summer and fall to teach these kids a playbook.
This is the piece of turd I can't wash out of my drawers after sharting: one of the reasons Orgeron was hired was to avoid a complete rebuilding job that you would have with a completely new head coach (and presumably staff). Looks like what we have right now is the "worst of both worlds".
The way that Alleva threatened to fire Miles without actually firing him in the '15 season, only to fire him 4 games into the '16 season, should have gotten that fool fired. And don't even get me started on how badly-handled the so-called "coaching search" was.
