why would he. hes coasting in the coastal conference like bobby b. almost guaranteed a shot at it all each year making a ton of money. he'd be literally insane to do so for the same or slightly more money.
I hope you are pragmatic. If your ultimate goal is top recruiting, consistent winning football, perennial top-10 rankings, and occasional trips to championship games, then sit back and enjoy the ride. Smile and I'll make you a drink. But if your ultimate goal is perfection . . . never take a loss, always number one, the best of the best . . . every season. Forever. Then you will live a disappointed, frustrated, unhappy whining football life, and you can get your own damn drink. Because no team is human history has ever been that good. I suspect that you are somewhere in between and you don't take drinks from strange Vikings. You are starting to balance some reason with your passion, Grasshoppa. Don't go over the cliff with the emotional minions. Those poor guys can't find any fun LSU football at all. Not me, amiga. But you are right . . . a good AD is always looking and has potential short lists for his football, basketball, and baseball head coaching positions. Because you just never know. I just think it is more likely that Les will drop dead, leave for Michigan, or retire than get fired for being one of the most successful coaches in college football.
I would suggest a minion avatar for you bit I like the one you already have. You can still be a minion in spirit. Or maybe an undercover minion.
Really, you're going with hyperbole? No one's lives are ruined and the issues with this team go alot deeper than 2 games and you know it. It's been said a thousand times, but I guess I'll repeat it again - it's not about losing games. Besides 80% being thrown around, this is the most frequent saying of the pumpers. NO ONE EXPECTS PERFECTION, so quit using that tired argument. Most knowledgeable/reasonable fans knows we're not going to win them all. Its the manner in which they're being lost. Repeats of the same mistakes game after game. Inept/predictable/stale offense, confusion on both sides of the ball, playing down to competition, not being prepared for big games, ect... And whether you want to admit it or not, this team, under Miles, consistently underachieves, especially when you consider the NFL talent drafted every year.
