    THE GOOD
    1. Bama was actually flagged for holding . . . twice. Never seen anything like it.
    2. Keehn finally had a good game. 7 punts for 42 yards including a couple of boomers and a punt dropped inside the 10.
    3. LaCouture got his first sack of the season.
    4. Jamal Adams played a good game. He may be our only ALL-SEC player on defense.
    5. We won't play another team this good all season.

    THE BAD
    1. Other than of a couple of long passes, Harris was ineffective. Back to back delay of game inside the 5. Horrible, huge interception in Bama scoring range. Missed passes, missed receivers, 31% passing, one to an offensive lineman! This was his game to show he was the QB of the future. He is not. All you have to do to beat LSU is stop Fournette. Harris cannot make anyone pay for it.
    2. The offensive line was offensive. The Bama D-line completely dominated them. They did not open a single hole for Fournette all night. We never substitute and they were gassed in the 4th.
    3. 97 total rushing yards. Pitiful performance by the line and the backs.
    4. Fournette played out of character. He was dancing and spinning and losing yards instead of putting his head down and hitting the seam. Of course, there was no seam. He is now back in the pack in the Heisman race.
    5. The defensive line was dominated. Henry ran through them like crap through a goose. But they were on the field way too long. Offense let them down again.
    6. LSU linebackers play the run well, but still can't cover a receiver.
    7. John David Moore was put back in too early and now he's hurt again.
    8. Poor field position all game long. The offense could not move the ball out of the hole.
    9. No apparent adjustments at halftime on offense or defense.
    10. Poor tackling. The first man to the ball carrier missed the tackle far too often.

    THE UGLY
    1. 20-minute difference in Time of Possession. Bama had double our TOP, double our offensive plays, and double our first downs. It was total domination.
    2. Penalties. Way too many, always at the worst time.
    3. Offensive game plan. It was apparent on the second drive that we would have to spread the field with the pass to open up the running game for Fournette . . . but it never happened. Harris didn't help much.
    4. Special teams. Again. Had a kick blocked, got 5 return yards, and allowed Bama way too much. Can't kickoff into the end zone. Kicked off out of bounds. Geez.
    5. The team was not mentally ready to play the game and it is the head coach's job to make are they are ready to play the game.

If you found any good in that game go back and proof it.

    Spot on, Red.
LSU lost this game on the LOS, plain and simple. Painful to watch. Hope the troops can regroup; the remaining 3 games are all winnable.

    # 5 but they do not have to be as good as Bama
Al they have to do is use the Bama LSU defense plan Saban had in place for the game . Which way the runner goes follow and tackle . As well as we know the next 3 teams also know . Dare him to pass the short pass . Need more proof

Every team we have played has tried that but got blocked. We could not block Alabama.

Good GB&U as usual Red. One minor point, I believe they blocked an extra point not a field goal.

How red says Ole Miss is not as good when they beat bama is beyond me. Maybe they aren't
as "good" but that statement is like dismissing the rest of our opponents to a degree, and invalid imo. It wasn't a matter of being "good" that decided last night's game. We're plenty "good" we need fucking coaches like our players saw when they looked on the other side of the field.

Harris was put in bad situations along with the entire offense. The bad and horrible is on the coaching. Everything else is a far 2nd.
So we end up with 2 losses maybe 3. Microstudy of this game is irrelevant.

The bigger picture is the only thing worthy of discussion and thats offensive philosophy. Continually blaming QB's and OCs in this antiquated nonsense has run its course. Anyone with a brain sees this. Time to address it or accept never being good enough. It's like an uninspired marriage and we either accept being 2nd or hope the other one dies at this point.

One of us is playing chess while the other is reading parcheesi for dummies.

Special teams coach should be fired. Nothing to discuss there.
