I agree and I said a couple of times during the game....if you only throw when you have to, you put your quarterback in a position where he has to be perfect for the offense to succeed. I'm not defending Jennings' play, but I can't help but wonder how much of his performance comes from knowing in the back of his head that the coaches have no confidence in him.
Thats just it. At the start of the second half, we called EASY high completion percentage passes. It worked. Then they went away.... Once bama went zone and Jennings had to think through his progressions. At that point, if #1 is covered, its run or GG.
