did they lose money? and if they did, does that mean we would when all evidence shows we made money? and do you really believe that whining about Obama taking an 18 hour trip to promote the U.S for the Olympics is anything other than petty partisanship??

    Quit digging.

    2010 Olympic Games Watch

The "whining" about Obama's unnecessary trip to Denmark is more about his reticence toward making a decision on McChrystal's Afghanistan troop request and the obvious cronyism that is the real reason behind his pushing for a Chicago Olympics.

You mean like Cheney and the no bid contracts for Haliburton during the Iraq war?

Not that that has anything at all to do with what's going on in 2009, but it's apples and oranges. In this case, there are other cities capable of putting on the Olympics. Before responding with another parrot like response, you may want to do a little research. I'm beating you up pretty badly here.

I do consider myself a traditional conservative and a person who believes in liberty.

Beck, Rush, Bush, McCain I don't believe to be traditional conservatives.

Beck especially claims this or claims that but the guy is doing nothing to help the country IMO. Sure he fires people up but usually by pandering to people's fears vs. actually using a logical argument.

And I'm not sure who believes in Conspiracy Theories.

Glenn Beck doesn't even know what he is.

Glenn Beck wants a time machine to rethink Ron Paul

i am sure i agree with many of the things he says. if he is for small government then that is cool.

but the dude is so clearly a self-centered prick. and so am i, so perhaps i should be lenient, but i dont like him. he appears to be the sort of self-promoting ass that loves to emphasize the things that dont matter and sensationalize things for self-promotion. and that is the nature of his job and thta is fine, but i dont get much out of it.

also he appears to be violating my general perception that mormons are polite and understated good folks.

honestly i prefer rush L to beck. rush is at least funny sometimes. although to be fair i have only seen beck once and i havent heard rush in over 10 years.

if i want someone to agree with, i can watch milton friedman vids on youtube.
