Mauck doesn't throw those 3 interceptions and the game is not close. O.M. had nothing to do with those 3 but catch them as they were right to him. Old Miss had nothing to do with Henderson dropping a potential t.d. pass in the first half and at worst, it would have been a ling gain and maybe led to points. O.M. had nothing to do with Davis dropping 1st down catch which led to us punting a an O.M. drive. O.M. had nothing to do with phantom holding call which kept their scoring drive alive instead of having to punt. They would lose to us 10 out of 10. Don't overcredit them because Mauck played poorly.
Yeah because Mauck was the only guy on the field. No one on the other side trying to stop him. Let's see. Mauck as a starter? What is it now? 13-2? 14-2?
Nobody else caused those three interceptions but Mauck. He was not even pressured on the one returned for a t.d. Bad throw to a double covered man. Did not say he was not a good q.b. Am saying his poor play and other plays cited made O.M. look better on defense than they are.
Re: Nobody else caused Dude. He was being chased in the endzone. Hold on another second and it's a safety. I'm not saying he had his best game, but the O-line didn't show up.
Mauck is one solid player. Our D won this one for us but the emotional Ole Miss D did effect Mauck. That doesnt lessen his continuing contributions, right now I wouldnt trade Mauck for anyone.
Re: Nobody else caused OK, Mauck had a bad game. We won. What do you want to do? Bench Mauck and put in Marcus Randall? Fire Saban? Fire Jim Fisher? By the way have you ever had a real bad day at your job when nothing went right? Good thing for you that a few million people weren't watching you screw up.
