If you donn't vote for a politicians who are liars then you should never vote.

Also, Al Gore never claimed he invented the internet.

interesting, i have less taxes taken out of my check since obama has been in office.

probably will end up owing at the end of the year but, just wanted to point that out.

Just wait. Before Obama leaves office we will see a European style VAT.

He may never have claimed it per say but he certainly let those words out of his mouth and as a polotician, you should always be careful of every word that comes out of your mouth. Something I think Obama is very good at, choosing his words carefully... Or at least his speach writers are good at it:grin:

No he did not. I will bet you a dollar to a do-nut you cannot produce the source of that quote.

Just go ahead and send me the dollar. The quote only exists in Republican blog sites where it was fabricated. Al Gore never said "I invented the internet" except on a David Letterman Top 10.

No Al, you didn't. Vint Cerf and Robert Kahn created the Internet. You started serving in Congress in 1977. TCP/IP was designed in 1973 and implemented at Stanford and in London in 1975.

Regardless of whether you wrote grants and legislation to speed the adoption along, you lied, Al.
