Nike makes Alabama's unis also and if anyone needs a makeover, those crimson shirts and white pants do, to include those stupid helmets. Nike hasn't tried to change them yet. I have always liked LSU's unis. They are a classic look that never needs updating. They are unique in their look without being overstated. The shoulder stripes have always looked cool, in my opinion.
Everybody remembers the fiasco of Gerry Dinardo messing with the uniforms. He came up with about three hideous versions -- all of which were roundly criticised by the faithful. Nick was smart. He changed nothing and even refused to change the tiger head logo to the "Toonces" logo. Also very smart. We'll just have to see if Miles is smart like Nick . . . or foolish like Dinardo.
I doubt if Nick gave any thought to the logo at all and hoefully Miles will have the same thought process, worrying about the play on the field and the players themselves.
can anyone post a link to the new uga uni's. i haven't seen them and the only place i could find them was on dawg post and you have to be a member to see them. much apprec!:helmet:
