While lamenting the shit show that is Washington, DC, and thinking it can’t get much worse, I had this cheery thought.

If RBG croaks next year, will McConnell invoke the “McConnell Rule” and refuse to confirm a Supreme Court nominee during last year of President’s term? Or . . Will he push a nominee through after stonewalling Merrick Garland?

We all know the answer. The Dems will go beyond ape shit!

No, none. Kamala Harris looks like a liberal VP candidate in waiting. Unless they decide to put the hefty lefty Georgian, Stacy Abrams, in her spot.

"The viral clip of conservative commentator Candace Owens accusing Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., of distorting her comments in such fashion that he must “believe black people are stupid” has become the most-viewed C-SPAN Twitter video from a House hearing.

The Twitter video of the exchange so far accumulated nearly 6.8 million views and appears to be on track to be most watched C-SPAN clip from a House hearing on all platforms. In less than 24 hours, this video is the most watched C-SPAN Twitter video from a House hearing (4.47 million views),” tweeted Jeremy Art, C-SPAN’s social media senior specialist, before the video got another 2.3 million views.

He added that it’s not yet the most watched C-SPAN video from a House hearing ever as it still lacks a couple of millions views – 5 million at the time of the tweet, though the gap has been cut in half since"

    Important to note.....
    -a hearing on racism
-Asian congressman intentionally misrepresents a minority's comment, then does not allow her to reply
-White chairman Nadler, interrupted Owens to admonish her for a comment....that she did not make (he accused her of calling Lieu stupid. Apparently Nadler wasn't even listening)

Looks pretty clear to me that in a hearing on racism, a black woman was on the receiving end of an attempt to SRTFU simply because her views aren't in goose step with liberal/black group-think.

    Carry on.

I used to fear the country would not make it more than a couple hundred years.

Then I started worrying about the USA imploding during the lives of my grandchildren.

After that, I worried about my children seeing the demise.

Now, I’m worried about my two government pensions ending, or the power going out while on an end of life respirator.

This shit is non-stop and accelerating!
