This team is pretty unimpressive. Weeden does not like pressure and reacts poorly when he does get it in his face. They would not match up well vs LSU. LSU would control the clock, take OSU out of their rhythm, like you're seeing with Iowa State tonight. OSU has only 3 offensive points in a quarter and a half of play. They have 1 great receiver in Blackmon and he would be neutralized, and their secondary receivers would not have success against Simon, Mathieu and Brooks. LSU 51, OSU 24
You're not living in the real world. The SEC rules and they WILL have an SEC team in the championship. The voters have given the SEC more respect than any other conference in the BCS era.
technically it is not a fact. It is quite possible lsu could still be ranked ahead of arky in the bsc and thus go to the seccg even with bama ahead of us due to head to head play.
i wondered if they would come out flat. the news of the womens bb coach had to have been tough for the whole community. between that and getting there so close to kick off, my thought even before the game started is it might take the pokes a while to focus tonight. granted, they have no defense. but the offense seems sluggish.
Who is they? The same people who've put a few one loss SEC teams in the past few years? Who've put in a 2 loss LSU team 4 years ago? Nope, you're referring to some media folks who have no control of the BCS rankings.
i can just see it taking a bit into the game to focus. i can see how it would cause a sluggish start given gundy probably already had to work to get them to focus today. if it is the whole game, it's not just the bus or lack of focus. its just a bad game.
not just no, but hell no. my sister, a huge pokes fan, even admits that. she said the thought of lsu's d is not a pretty thought for her.
Seen enough. Blackmon is great but LSU would skull frick Okie State. LSU would drain the clock and wear them out. Blackmon would get some chunks but the LSU D would tighten up in the redzone and keep them under 17.
