I don't think we will be hated that much. If SC gets beat in the Rose, everyone in the country will want LSU to win the Sugar (to punish this at large team). Even if SC wins the Rose, fans will want to see LSU manhandle OU in the Dome. I used to hate how they spread out all these BCS games, but now I really like the idea. No matter what happens in the Rose, the Sugar will not get ignored. Only one team is walking off the field with a trophy, LSU will be that team. Let SC save it's paper clipping, I'll glady take that crystal football. Off topic: I've been reading that we turned down a game next year against SC a few weeks ago? I know Pete Carrol called out the Sugar winner, with his "we'll play them" stuff. But I was reading the SC boards, and they are talking about us turning down the game like it was common knowledge. Is this true?
Three things that'll shut these fu**ks up and good this bowl season: 1) SEC kicks ass in their 7 bowls (do I HAVE to cheer for Auburn? Uh, okay...) 2) Michigan bashes USC on their "home field" 3) LSU handles OU on our "home field" SEC was and always will be SECond to none!
The hate is not coming from Atlanta I was so very proud of our tigers listening to both sports radio stations today here in Atlanta. They both said that LSU proved they belonged in the Championship by giving their dawgs a whoopin. The callers all agreed. They tore into the BCS about allowing Oklahoma being in. When Oklahoma fans called to state their case they said LSU deserved to be playin them, but not USC. Then the radio anouncers came back with "not loosing your championship the way you did". When one Georgia fan came on with his would of should of could of's. They tore into him, and other Georgia fans called in and put him in his place. One stated "I was at the game and LSU is the real deal." I don't think the media is anti LSU, I think they are anti SEC. When you are always at the top they pick at you. They nit pick at the little things not lookin at the big picture. Look at Oklahouma every body was on there band wagon untill the big lost Saturday. After we beat Georgia the first time they were begining to look our way till Florida beat us. These ESPN reporters are loving this controversy. Why because it brings more people to watch them to hear what they say. When I watch them I don't get upset with there opinions. Because I watch them to get the news. Thier opinions mean nothing to me. Everybody has an opinon. Everybody is entitled to that. Let them say what they want to say. The opinion I really listen to is not those watching the game, but those who are actually playing the game. Ffrom what I have read, those who have played LSU have said LSU is equal to or better then best they have played. Now that is the respect we should be looking at. (BTW In my opinion the New York Times came out to be the best computer poll after all look where they put Oklahoma. But that is just my opinion)
