Dude .. "bitching and nitpicking"???? Will it be bitching and nitpicking when those same mistakes come back to bite us on our ass??? Granted, we won .. I was as estatic as any other tigers fan. BUT .. I also know we have to play SEC teams ... not a bunch of main dishes at fancy restaurants served up with some sort of peking sause. What's wrong with wanting to see your team CRUSH every team they play?? We Crushed the Ducks on the scoreboard, but take away the 21 points from turnovers, and we lose. I'm glad we won .... I would have been even more glad had the score been what it was without the turnovers. Just sayin. :geaux:
That's a ridiculous statement, IMO. Forcing turnovers IS PART OF THE GAME! It's part of impossing your will and dominating. Forcing your opponent into mistakes IS "CRUSHING"....turning 4 turnovers into 3 TD's IS DOMINATING.
Truer words were never spoken. I can't believe that guy that you responded to doesn't recognize a dominating defensive effort. Does he realize that offense averaged 500+ yards of offense, 200+ yards rushing, and nearly 50pts a game last year? People like that are never satisfied. I bet if we'd have won 50-0, with 400 yards passing, 200 yards rushing and held them to under 100 total yards, someone would STILL find something to complain about.
