1. 'Best ever'...lol. Knute may take issue with that.
  2. True... and Ara Parseghian is putting flowers on Knute's grave as we speak!!

Willingham went 10-3 his first year and got "buyone/get one free" coupons to Dunkin' Donuts, Weis goes 9-3 and gets a raise worthy of a Pope.

Let's give Weis at least two years before declaring sainthood on the round one.

  4. His wife might take issue with that. :hihi:
  5. His credentials are very impressive, but the move would be a horizontal one rather than a vertical one. As I said before, coaches don't normally like to move unless the move is considered a step up. I think the big problem with the search so far is that Bertman, with a couple of exceptions, has been looking at coaches who are from programs at the same level as LSU. Horton and Pawlowski are exceptions. I would say Pawlowski may have the inside track, but the fact that Bertman keeps looking suggests he is not that thrilled with Pawlowski.
  6. ....or some of the priests!!
  7. Disagree completely with Notre Dame being a lateral move in baseball, not when you consider how hard it is getting baseball players to go up north, where most of the best recruits come from warm weather states, etc. That's why I think what he has done at Notre Dame is pretty impressive and think he could be great HC down here where guys can play outdoors almost year round, besides getting the new facilites.
  8. Methinks he was talking about the baseball coach in that statement.:)
  9. regularly? How about just at all. :hihi:
