Play complete games like the first half against terdersee and yes you could beat all three. Play like you did against Vandy and you will loose all three. However, I will gladly accept new receipes for crow should the need arise.
I disagree. I really don't think any of those teams have the offense to take advantage of turnovers. I've eaten it before, and doubtless I'll come up with something special if I have to. Hopefully I have to wait at least until Nov. 12 to start cooking...
Do you mean posting 479 offensive yards with the quarterback making SEC player of the week? Or do you mean holding them to 133 yards on defense? If the third string had not given up a 40 yard run on the last play, expecting a pass, then we would have held them to double digit yardage! A good crow sauce piquant works the best. :hihi:
Georgia should be able to run the ball right down Florida's throat without much trouble with the OL depth and experience that Georgia can bring to the field. Meanwhile, the Gator offense will have to deal with a Georgia defense that is just as good as the one Alabama put on the field against them in Tuscaloosa. The Gators would have to have a lot of things go their way to beat Georgia this year. I just don't see that happening. I think that there is more of a chance for Georgia to lose to Auburn than lose to Florida. Winning the SEC East is certainly very obtainable for Georgia at this point, especially if Florida loses at Baton Rouge for their second loss.
Just wishful thinking, really. Not basing it on a whole lot. I'm thinking tha UF will be pissed after losing 2 games under Pope Meyer, and may resort to just letting 'er fly.
Could you imagine what would happen to Pope Meyer if they would lose 3 games this year? The Fla. fans would want to feed him to the Crock that was on the cover of there book last year!:thumb:
Reality... Florida State will probably tear up the Gators this year, so Meyer is going to have to beat Georgia or LSU to keep things relatively respectable at 8-3. More than 3 losses will get Meyer a serious website as it will look too much like a repeat of Zook's 8-5 runs. Meyer had a crappy recruiting class last year, and another 4 or more losses would further downgrade this years' recruiting possibilities. I talked with a Gator fan the other day who is still holding on to the perspective that the loss to Alabama was just a big letdown instead of a real indication of the deficits that the Florida team has had all along. I told him to start drinking heavily for the game this weekend with LSU! :hihi:
I wouldn't count on that just yet. I know UGA has a good run offense and did well vs UT but UF's run defense is pretty good too. Shockley will have to get some things going in the passing game for UGA to run the ball very well vs the Gators. And by the time the Cocktail party rolls around I expect them to have a btter handle on Urban's O, the game may be a lot closer than you think. UGA looked good last week but one good game against one good opponent doesn't mean that UGA is definitely all that just yet. I'd harad a guess that if the same UGA team that played MOO U, ULM or SC shows up vs Florida the Gators will have a very good shot at winning, just like they will this weekend in Baton Rouge.
There is not any team that will be beating LSU is we play a complete game of defense like we did the entire game against Vandy, no matter what the offense does.
