While it is true that Georgia played like crap the first half, the Dawg defense only gave up one 7 point score on a freak play.

South Carolina simply could not put Georgia away.

I still expect Georgia to win the East.

If I was a Georgia fan, that would have been my response. How can LSU fans "dawg" UGA when we barely slipped by OSU and were just as lucky to win as Georgia was? We're always harping on how tough the SEC is yet think Georgia now sucks because they barely beat one. Use your heads and quit making yourselves look like fools.

Granted, but it still chaps me a bit to see the pundits talking about Georgia's "heart and character" in finding a way to come back, when all they could say about LSU was how they were "lucky". I'm sorry, but that just goes to show bias against the Tigers. Yes, I am a Tiger homer, but I'd think any neutral observer could see that if they really looked.

I have to agree with you about bias against LSU Football at this point.

I'm not sure if it still concens the LSU/USC disputes from last year or whatever, but it comes across as an effort to try to slant LSU away from being seen as a long standing, "traditional program."

I'm quite sure that most of the PAC 10 folks in general were really hoping that OSU would win and it seemed like the commentators were catering to that perspective.

USC has brought back some of the PAC 8 glimmer of the 70's, but the sports announcers shouldn't have to disparage or downplay other solid programs just to prop up their ratings and audience appeal on the left coast.
