Don't forget a very important point about the previous game with Georgia... all of those blocked passes by our defensive linemen. Greene can take a 3 or 5 step drop all he wants, but he seems to have trouble getting it over the heads of our guys. Of course, maybe he's learned from that game, and will put some more arch into them, but I still like our chances of winning this second game.

LOL, what are we gonna do ... what are we gonna do.

Show up with a freakin' offense this time.

    Ditto Ramah,

If the offense shows up this time it won't matter what Georgia
    does....

Another excellent and well thought out, erudite reply from the resident expert on our board when it comes to watching tape, helping LSU recruit players, and all things on all subjects...including "spit shining" shoes...

    Ramah himself...

Mr. "Our season is a disappointment because we won't play in the Sugar Bowl" and Mr. "We have NO shot at the Sugar Bowl after our 17-14 Ole Miss win" Ramah...

Sorry if I don't exactly stop to pause and ponder with astonished wonder at your amazingly articulate responses, Dummah...

As for everything else, I think that LSU tried to run against the no huddle already on defense, & we gave up 19 points. Against a team with a more polished quarterback and more talent at wideout (with an admittedly more inferior rushing attack and offensive line) I think it could be another long day for our defense.

Not saying we will lose, but I was just thinking that someone would come up with something more...Which thankfully, the Crustacean did...

And without Jack Hunt on the field. I think he calls out a lot of assignments throughout the course of the game. I really dont know, but this defense is a lot more experienced than it was against UF and the first UGA game.

Another thing Florida had in their favor that Georgia won't have is we were coming off a bye week, and that completely messed up our timing. I think Mauck will continue from the Arkie game, and Justin Vincent will have another big game. I think we can shut down pollack again, and as we prove earlier this year. we can move the ball on their defense, and Georgia couldn't move the ball on our defense cept on a 90+ yard screen pass in the 4th Quarter.

Plus Georgia won't have any excuses this time since both Fred Gibson, and Ben Watson are going to play. So I like that. Plus I have alot of family that lives in the Athens area and we have already bet over 500 dollars on this game. I can't wait till saturday.

I have no idea other than assigning a backer to the back on every play. If the back releases, the backer pulls off the rush and goes with the back. That may be stupid, it’s the best I got.

How do we know that Fisher will not run a no-huddle offense? Both teams will have a new wrinkle to the offense. I sort of expect UGA to come out trying to apply pressure to Matt (more than the first game) to affect him so he throws off target and possible interceptions.

Nick is the best coach in the SEC. I trust that he and his team will have a plan. I recently read a post that someone stated he was the best they have watched make adjustments to slow down or stop the offense.

I do believe that we cannot allow UGA to get off to a start as Arkansas did. UGA is too good of a team for LSU to allow them to jump-start like that. I believe the blitz will be disguised even better for this game. We know that Green is good, but he can be rattled and confused.

In no way am I an expert. I only played high school FB. But, I have yelled during a game when our “D” lined up to play what appeared to be a base defense, and out of no where is the blitz. This happened against UF, Auburn, Bama and Arkansas. I didn’t yell in the Arkansas game, because I learned you just don’t know.

I believe the difference in this game is going to be the LSU offense and the defense to make Greene nervous.

    Shhhhh!

Don't educate him about Hunt and the Dee, TE's on a roll with his witty banter (btw, witty banter is not a small penis). ;)

LSU's defensive scheme is not vulnerable to any ONE PARTICULAR GAME PLAN ... it's a fluid strategy ... Gee, gomer how will LSU coaches deal with no huddle ... and, of course there are no downsides to this strategy for Georgia. ;)

What do they call 'em? A just mints. Gee, maybe that's why the Hawgs never ran for 500 yards against LSU!

Now, those are beehives, son. Don't go in there stirring 'em up with that stick. I'm gonna leave you all alone in there now ...
