He closed in a much more tolerable tone than he spoke for 2 hours preceeding it. His tone is ABSOLUTELY annoying. Can't stand a man with a high-pitch-bitch voice.

The jury has been deliberaring for a little over 2 hours and have just asked for an itemized list of evidence. The more questions asked or the longer the jury takes in deliberations has to go in favor of the defense. Hopefully this jurys decision is solely based on the evidence and not personal feelings.

Not arguing but the exact opposite was just stated on television by one of the networks. They said it in terms of the general consensus that the prosecution had NO case.

I tend to agree with your statement though. The fact that they're not back means their not all in agreement that he's guilty. Maybe they're looking at the lesser charge possibility though. Or maybe there's one or two against convicting and the others are trying to persuade. As I type this I realize how it's hard to know, exactly.

On another note, anyone see those idiots outside the courthouse beating the drums? Unreal.

Chances are a mjority don't want to convict and there's maybe a couple that don't agree. But i'm just guessing here. Based soley on evidence and not "feelings" like I said in another post, not sure how anyone could not acknowledge the self defense aspect, afterall Martin decided to confront Zimm and assault him instead of going home.

I agree but not sure if it was necessary to use a gun to stop him. Thing is, the prosecution didn't show me it wasn't, either.

His behavior after the shooting is odd too but who knows how we're "supposed" to act after shooting someone in defense of your life. Maybe he was in shock.

Or a little out of element after having his melon spanked in to the side walk. I was jumped a few years back by 4 guys for throwing 1 of their buds out of the club. They waited in the parking lot after we closed for me to go to my truck... I ended up taking half a dozen boots to the head and honestly, while I never lost consciousness, I wasn't exactly right for a few days after. So I can see where he wouldn't exactly be on top his game for a bit after the beat down.

After a little over 16 hours of deliberations over the last two days the jury verdict is: NOT GUILTY!!!

And by the way, I agree with this verdict.
