Rodriguez has one hell of a temper. Seemed everytime the camera was on him he was droppin' F bombs. Lot of spirit in that guy. I like him. He's sorta like Ed Orgeron...with brains. :hihi:
At least LSU has only respectable fans to back up all this bitchin'... its not like we're being hypocritical here.
I had a bad feeling the minute it was announced that PAC 10 officials were officiating the game. I'm pretty disgusted with the Georgia defensive coordinator. He should have covered the middle better and left the corners to cover man to man on the WVU receivers who hugged the sidelines instead of the worthless zone coverage he used. He knew Gerald Anderson was out of the game and the middle would be more vulnerable, especially during stunts. It also took Georgia way too long to get up to game speed. They played the first quarter in slow motion. This is probably the biggest win in WVU football history. They go to 11-1. All I can do is shake my head. A disappointing and somewhat embarrassing appearance on the part of Georgia, especially in the first quarter.
Overall, Martinez did a decent job for his first year as DC, but last night just made no sense. To not put 8 men in the box and force WVU to throw? Especially with Gerald Anderson out? Same with the last punt lineup against WVU. Georgia always puts pressure on the punter in similar situations. I know the Georgia system too well to not recognize that something was very fishy. I would hate to think that there was some Big East pressure to sway the game, but some of what happened can't be reasonably explained.
