Its what the LSU looks like in all their stuff. And thats another thing they created a new font JUST for the letters LSU I dont see them using it for any other letters. So I will take the same font title it KATT Font and only use it for the letters t..e..a..m..k
I'm almost certain they have a full alphabet in that font. For example, you can see "Tiger Stadium" in the Geaux font on the back of the scoreboards. And I'm pretty sure the signs in some of the athletic facilities also use it.
Now this is the nice "font" I'm talkin' about.... You guys from Lafourche parish understand don't you . I'll explain. When I lived in Golden Meadow, the guys used to refer to a girl's rear end as a "font". In fact my old friend D Lafont used to say he was the only guy in South Lafourche referred to as "font" because of his name...all the other "fonts" in school were girls that had nice fonts.
unless you run into 1 of 3-5 people, i wouldn't worry about the font on your tailgating t shirts. if they ever ask who made your shirts, tell them you don't know (like you're not in charge) you're just some guy who's wearing it. edit: if they crack down on anyone they're trying to crack down on the t shirt shop making unlicensed stuff for mass distribution not some dude making 20-30 shirts for his tailgate.
"LSU" is quite different from the font. the shop i got them from, wouldn't put a replica of the tower or anything b/c they are officially licensed thru LSU so they do others tailgating shirts but won't put anything with drinking, tailgating, otherwise with anything having to do with LSU. they were really strict but they did a good job. some places aren't so strict, for instance back in college i had a shirt made with the actual newspaper picture of herb tyler scoring when we beat florida. the guy just said "if anyone asks, this wasn't made here." since he probably would've had LSU and the times pic on his butt. edit: the real answer to your question is we got them from a shop that wouldn't do anyhting LSU related.
There is a bit more to it, I wouldn't know where to begin on the spelling but I think sounds like font kee loit? At least thats why my grandfather always calls em.
