My option is not represented in this poll.

I don't think the government should have anything to do with "marriage". The government should allow unions between any two adults & this should be all the government is involved in.

Let the churches decide who they want to allow to marry.

I agree and disagree somewhat. You are assuming since Gays are in the minority that it doesn't or didn't happen within the church?

Let us not point out the problem with our dear Catholic preachers and their actions.

The bible cannot be taken literally and as we pointed out have no basis in any type of objective fact so taking a few passages as to say a man and woman is marriage cannot be upheld.

At the end of the day who really gives a **** if a man and man want to be married. And if they can find a venue to do it then whatever.

I think more Christians need to wake up and read where their earlier beginnings came from, read some non-canon works, and take note of the old testament and claim that they or their god is any better than a Gay person..

    Ugh.

Just a genuine question for some out there? How come Christians are wrong for believing certain things are right and certain things are wrong... isn't that a bit of a paradox for those proclaiming this??? Isn't this the exact opposite of what is being preached to Christians to be more open to others faith and beliefs. How about it go both ways and we stop telling each other that they are wrong because they hold a different belief/faith than your own?

    Sorry about hijacking the thread.

To answer the question, I'm am torn on the subject for the same reason many others are here. I think they should have the same rights, but there is just something about the term mairrage that I think is sacred. Oh well, what will be is what will be.
