I'm kind of wondering what the spinoff will be about. We know it won't be Roberts Rebellion sadly, nor will it be Dunk and Egg, maybe Aegon's conquest? The Age of heros? Nymeria's conquest?
Heard it could also be about the Brothers without Banners. All we know is that there are 3 different scripts being put together as we speak.
Will Tyrion betray Daenerys? He sure did look like he was having doubts while walking through the aftermath of the battle. At first, I thought he may have just been worried about Jaime, but he was watching when Jaime tried to kill Dany, so he had to see Bronn save him. It appears like he's having second thoughts about her being queen because he thinks she's starting to act more and more like the mad king and it doesn't look like he's much of a fan of the destruction Drogon rained down on the Lannister army. That said, if he did, where would he go? He can't reunite with his family. Even if Cersei now knows he didn't kill Joffery, he did kill Tywin and neither one of his siblings can forgive him for that. Still, I'm kind of worried about his resolve at the moment.
Cersei is her father. And I suspect in the dragon pits where they all meet she will try to have a red wedding type event take place and that's when Jaime kills her. He will see the big picture which is living vs dead. Tyrion I don't know. Cersei will never accept him because of Johanna.
So, you didn't get that vibe that Tyrion was at least having doubts as he walked through the carnage, then tried to talk her out of roasting the Tarlys? Switching gears, my son found a leaked copy of episode 6. He says it's even better than ep4. I haven't watched it yet, but he said the sound quality is not that great and there are a couple of other mild annoyances. It's still up as of this post, but not sure for how long. If you're interested in the link, PM me. (I think it's only available on phones)
Definitely, and I mean hell he was getting drunk with Varys because of it. I don't think he had really gotten himself good and inebriated since Dany returned from Vaes Dothrak. That is until she unleashed the Dragons on the Lannister army. However I think a lot of it has to do with him screwing up the battle plans and letting Jaime and Cersei outwit him with the Greyjoys and Casterly Rock. What I wanna know is how we are expected to believe the Iron Throne and the Army of the Dead will be taken care of in 8 episodes from this point. They are going to have to really move. I mean I guess it can be done considering they got through the entire LotR saga in 9 hours. So maybe, but they need to get going and not waste time on bullshit like eunoch sex.
I think I read somewhere that some of the episodes next season are longer than an hour. I'm not sure if this is true or whether it makes any difference, but it seems to make sense. If they would focus all of their efforts on just killing the night king, everything else will work itself out. When the king dies, so does the magic giving reanimation to the Army of the Dead. I know its easier said than done when he has a million zombies protecting him, but the strategy is sound.
