The only negative thing I can say about the game is the number of fans (mostly students) that did not bother to show up. If someone doesn't care enough about their team to attend the game, then they should give their ticket to someone who will. I think it was last year when LSU cut the number of student seats because not enough students were showing up. If they are not careful, they could get cut again. When I was a student at LSU you could not find an empty student seat. What is going on with today's student? Don't they give a rat's a$$?

I wonder, with the really nice weather that we had yesterday, whether the students were too drink to come to the stadium:hihi:

It was about 80% full at best. The students seemed to be the biggest culprits.

One of the guys on the post show was saying we only had 75K...and I know we had many more than that....then I read this article that said we had 92,407.

I would believe the 92k way before 75k.....like a lot of you, I was there, and it seemed very full.

my take from listening to it.

i wont say lackluster, but i will say in the first half, primarily the first quarter, not as sharp as we have seen. i attributed that to rp getting his first "starting jitters" out of his head. it in a way reminded me of the moo u first half. not as sharp as what you know the team can be, but even then, still dominant and getting the job done. i say that because even the defense missed some tackles that from listening sounded like missed assignments. at one point the team took a timeout because the defense was a bit confused.

BUT!!! i am not saying that our team didn't do well. what i am saying is it seemed like the personnel changes and lack of flynn and doucet made the team need to find it's rhythm again. i think it is great that we can make those changes and still post the score we did, even on a team like mtsu. that, i think is a very good sign. plus, i am glad that rp stepped in and got some starting and full game experience before we get to the big boys on the schedule.

oh. and i am glad that our 3rd qb got some plays. it appears that hatch is going to be 3rd in line and lee will keep his red shirt.

they often report the #of tickets sold. actual attendance for a game like this was probably less.

For Gawd's sakes people. I said I didn't see or hear anything about the game. All I saw were intermittent scores. I also said 'SEEMS like the offense was lackluster' and even capitalized 'SEEMS' because I was freely admitting that I didn't know and was requesting info. Sheesh.

I guess in a sense, I did get my question answered. I just didn't anticipate getting jumped on for something so innocuous.
