I believe OSU is first on the list. Duck Gumbo
Maybe its all heat and humidity that gets to you and give you dilusions of greatness.
OSU is fixing to see what Heat and humidity is in Death Valley.
Hope you're not disappointed but we're eating Beaver next weekend.:hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:
Beav usc lucked out against a team that was playing 22 freshmen (true and red shirt). You guys will not be so lucky. Bring body bags. :thumb: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :thumb:
ABeaver, I don't mind your presence here, and I applaud your support of your team...What I'd like to correct you on is the following... As Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfriend alluded to earlier tonight, Virginia Tech scheduled this game only AFTER LSU allowed them to back out. As a condition of backing out (They rescheduled for the 2007 season here in Baton Rouge), they were forced to find us a replacement. Oregon State answered the call. Basically, it goes like this: Virginia Tech liked their chances against USC way more than they liked their chances against LSU. Care to refute the statement? Just watch the damn replay of the ESPN game tonight! As for everything else, you've got to be worried about not solidifying the two most important spots on your line from a passing standpoint (outside of center, perhaps)...The entire left side of line is not set with 10 days to go? A sophomore as a first time starter? 92,000 at night, in the heat, in Tiger Stadium, with the bright big boy lights on and a national television audience looking on? Hmm...I admire your support, that's all I can say...But, truly, logic is not on your side. We've got the horses, we've got the coaching, and we've got the atmosphere at our advantage. You have nothing. Good luck, and may the best team win.
Abeaver, do us a favor and hit spellcheck from time to time...It's Louisiana, not Louisianna, and it's delusions, not dilusions... ;-)
OH Yeah. Wrong goofy mascot. I work with a Duck fan and must have had that on my mind. Enjoy your Beaver!! :thumb:
maybe with the money they get from playing LSU they can put lights on the high school football field.......
Sigh...Why do I have to keep stating the obvious truth. USC is not co champion. LSU does not want to share their AP and/or Rose Bowl Championships. LSU, on the other hand, is the BCS National Champion. Remember the BCS? The system which all participants, including Carroll and USC, agreed would determine who the National Champion would be? You have seen the ADT Crystal football trophy, which is emblematic of the National Championship in college football? That little baby is sitting in Baton Rouge. There are no co-champions. USC is #1 in the minds of AP writers and some coaches and LSU is #1 in the minds of everybody else. Lets count them shall we? AP writers who voted USC #1: 48 Coaches who voted USC #1: 3 Everybody else: 270,000,000.
Beavers live in gutters. I got in there with them. I feel bad about that, but it is what it is. Maybe we can get back to football and the fact that LSU should take these knuckleheads out!
Thanks for your ONE MEASLY FREAKIN' CHAMPIONSHIP. That's what I call A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION. STOP PILING ON YOUR BIG BROTHERS. THEIR CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE IN MEANINGLESS SPORTS, ANYWAYS. Even playing in a grab-@ss league like the PAC-1 y'all STILL can't win anything else. Go home, ya pitiful FREAK. PS Prepare to have your @ss HANDED to ya next weekend...
